Vivo X6 Release Date & Update: Invites Sent Out for Launch Event; Rumored Specs Include Dual Charging

The Vivo X6 is going to be available very soon as reports say that the device's launch date is nearing. According to GSM Arena, Vivo released on Weibo a teaser invite confirming that their new X6 will be coming out towards the end of the month. The invite specified the date which is going to be on Nov. 30.

But even before the flagship smartphone is unveiled, several rumors and information have surfaced ahead of time giving onlookers a glimpse of how the Vivo X6 will turn out to be. Phone Arena detailed that the latest news about the high-end device is that it will come with a dual charging feature.

According to the site, a photo showing a diagram of a battery charging revealed that the dual charging feature has the capability to fill up the battery in the Vivo X6 at a faster speed compared to other handsets. This information is deemed to be authentic as the photo came from the Chinese company's Weibo page as well. Some people are looking for smartphones that would charge fast and the Vivo X6 may just be the answer to that. Plugging in their handset to the outlet for a few minutes will already give them enough battery juice to last for hours.

Aside from the fast charging feature, the Vivo X6 is said to sport a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560. Tech Times reported that it will have under its hood a ten-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM. As for its internal storage, it will carry 32 GB of expandable storage. Its operating system out of the box will be Android 5.1 Lollipop.

It will also be equipped with a 21-megapixel rear camera and a 12-megapixel front camera. Its battery capacity is 4,000 mAh. A teaser also said that the handset will offer a split screen multi-tasking feature. More of its specs and features will be unveiled soon.
