Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers: Is Terminus Home of Comic's Cannibalistic Cult?
"The Walking Dead" season 4 ended on a bit of a cliff hanger, and now as season 5 waits in the wings, the creators of the show are hinting at what is to come next.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Executive Producers Scott M.Gimple and Robert Kirkman touched on some of the non-zombie related challenges their characters could face this next coming season.
"Are we far too gone to be people anymore, to actually be human beings, to be able to relate to one another on an emotional level, to be able to live a real humanistic and emotional life-- are we too far gone?" Gimple shared to Hollywood Magazine, as he took a deeper approach.
The two also hinted that Terminus, a major factor in Season 4, will be a key focal point in season 5, as TV viewers only got to witness the going ons of the town briefly. Robert Kirkman said it will be a source of major upheaval in the new season, though he didn't specify when it will begin.
"We're going to be dealing with Terminus in a big way as soon as we come back," he said.
For those who follow the comic books, fans seem to clamoring on the idea it is a cannibalistic cult. There were small and quick hints alluding to that in the season finale.
Also unanswered is, where did Beth go, and will Carol and Tyreese save the day for the core group?
Wetpaint is speculating the new season will return on October 12, 2014.
