Apparently, the distributor does not think that "Warcraft" the movie will become a hit in the box office. However, it was reported that it is unlikely that Universal will withdraw its involvement in the upcoming film since it has already spent around $100 million on it.

With that, director of the film Duncan Jones also defended the film on his official Twitter account. He explained that the change of release date was to make way for another big film. It was reported that Universal was trying to avoid competition for the film.

Duncan replied to a tweet with the statement, "@CLAWX I wouldn't worry about that. Universal moved us to the same date as Jurassic World, so we must have done something right!"

It was reported that the upcoming "Warcraft" film will have its story set in Azeroth. It will serve as an origin story of the Orcs, which is inspired by the premiere game of the "Warcraft" franchise called "Orcs and Humans."

Duncan further explained details of the film's plot. He said, "From the moment I first talked to Blizzard, the plan was to start our film with the first time Orcs met Humans. First contact! I think that for a world with s ml milk looko much newness to explain, this was a wise choice, especially when so many people in our audience may not know anything about Warcraft... it was important that some of our characters would be seeing the world fresh as well, and that the audience could see the situation through their eyes."

The movie is said to feature stars Travis Fimmel, Dominic Cooper, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbel, Rob Kazinsky and Clancy Brown.

"Warcraft" is expected to release on June 10, 2016.
