Wash. Church Creates Funny Video Declaring Seattle Seahawks' Victory Ahead of Super Bowl

Eastlake Community Church in Kirkland, Wash., released a comical video featuring their pastor and church members celebrating the Seattle Seahawks' trip to the upcoming Super Bowl XLVII following their win over the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday.

The "Winner" video shows Pastor Jake Rutenbar emulating artist Pitbull, clad in a suit and sun shades, singing to the tune of the artist's "Timber" track featuring Ke$ha. Recap images of the Seahawks' National Football Conference championship win over the 49ers also appear in short clips.

It is the third video Rutenbar and his group made about their hometown NFL team since the 2012 football season. It has garnered close to 50,000 views since it was uploaded last Friday.

"The main reason we make these videos in the first place is because we think they're really funny and we love the Seahawks," says Tom Noble of Eastlake Community Church, according to Seahawks.com. "The fact that other people like what they see and hear, and that they show their friends, it's just a funny byproduct."

Noble said they began to write and record the script following the team's NFC win last Sunday and by Monday they were shooting the three-minute video.

"Everything feels and sounds fresh and hits home because of how quickly we turn these things around," said Noble. "We run hard until it's all done."

In the past, the group has also collaborated in other videos, including "Can't Stop the Seahawks,"  and "Beastmode and Coach Pete," a video about the Seahawks' head coach, Pete Carroll, that also pokes fun at their quarterback, Russell Wilson's height.

Wilson, 25, who is 5'11" and weighs about 204 pounds, is reportedly the smallest starting quarterback in the NFL today. He is also known to be a born again Christian and is among the few players in the league who are vocal about their faith.

In a recent interview with Mars Hill pastor Mark Driscoll, Wilson along with other teammates all agreed that "Jesus is better than the Super Bowl."

The Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos will play for the Lombardi Trophy at the Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium, in East Rutherford, N.J., on Feb. 2.
