The likelihood of the Redskins being able to end their nine game road losing streak is slim today, and Robert Griffin III is still out injured, which means Kirk Cousins continues to fill in. His record as a starter is poor, and so far in seven starts for the Redskins his record is 1-6. Last week they lost 17-27 to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Cardinals meanwhile did suffer their first loss of the season last week when they went on the road to the Denver Broncos, where they came up against a rampant Peyton Manning. They managed to keep things relatively tight through the first half but still went in at the break 13-21 down.

The Cardinals clawed back a few points in the third, but in the fourth Peyton Manning and the Broncos ran riot, scoring 17 unanswered points to claim a 41-20 victory over Arizona.

The Cardinals get to return home today and face a struggling team in the Redskins and they will be looking to get back to winning ways.
