The NFC East has been hugely competitive this season and that means that even though the Redskins are only third in the division, they still occupy a Wild Card spot in the NFC.

But they have very little room for errors with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on 6-5 and the Minnesota Vikings on 6-6.

The Redskins still have their postseason future in their own hands but a loss today could change that, so they will see this as almost a must-win game.

The Arizona Cardinals meanwhile are second in the NFC West but they are all but out of the postseason picture, as their 4-6-1 record is just lagging behind too many teams vying for the Wild Card spots.

They also have no chance at catching the NFC West division leading Seattle Seahawks who are on 7-3-1, and even a terrible run of form would not be enough for the Cardinals to displace them.

The Redskins will be hoping their offense can keep ramping things up. They are recording an average of 426.4 total yards per game until now, with 314.8 yards coming on the pass, and 111.5 yards coming on the ground per game.

Kirk Cousins has looked excellent at various points this season, and if he can consistently hit that standard then the Redskins should make the Playoffs and could make waves in the postseason.
