The Washington Wizards play host to the Indiana Pacers and both teams will be looking to score their first win of the year.
For Wizards head Coach Randy Wittman, the start to this season eerily resembles the disastrous 0-8 start they endured to start last season and culminated with the firing of head Coach Flip Saunders.
So far the Wizards are 0-8 and are traveling to an arena where they have not won in over five years. Should they lose, they would set the record for the worst start in franchise history.

"That's one thing that we most definitely try to avoid," said guard Bradley Beal during a press conference. "I mean, once we get that, we hang our heads low, then we come out sluggish, and then teams really start beating us. And then we just get into the 'I don't care anymore' mode."
One of the reasons the Wizards are one of the worst teams in the NBA is due to their poor offensive execution.
The Wizards are scoring a league worst 88.8 points per game, shooting a horrendous 40.8 percent from behind the arc, and are averaging 17.0 turnovers per game.
To make matters worse, Washington is without star guard John Wall due to a knee injury, and center Nene because of a foot injury. Wall is expected to be sidelined until next month, but there is no timeline for Nene's return so far.
"We just need a win. We need a win," said A.J. Price, who is starting in place of Wall, told reporters during a press conference. "We need a win as much as possible."
Visiting Indiana may only compound the Wizards' problems. They've lost 31 of the last 37 games there, including the last eight meetings. Worse for the Wizards is Pacers offensive production- they have averaged 107.6 points per game.
On the positive side, the Pacers still are not playing that well and are without a few key players such as Roy Hibbert and Danny Granger.
