Washington Wizards vs Toronto Raptors Live Stream: Watch Online NBA Basketball
Already with a 2-0 series lead, the Washington Wizards host the Toronto Raptors at the Verizon Center in the Eastern Conference of the NBA Playoffs. The match is on April 24, 2015 at 8 p.m. ET.
Despite seeded lower in the playoff ranking, the Wizards have played better basketball as they have trumped the Raptors in Toronto.
In the first game, Washington won 93-86 in an overtime victory which saw Paul Pierce lead the team with 20 points while shooting 4-of-7 from the three point arc. The dynamic backcourt of Bradley Beal and John Wall also displayed their playoff-caliber game a they scored 16 and 10, respectively.
Beal had nine rebounds to go along with his points, while Wall had six boards and eight assists. Toronto only shot 21 percent from beyond the arc and were unable to shoot the ball well as they only scored four points in the overtime period and had an atrocious 38 percent shooting from the field for the game.
In the second game, Toronto still could not find an answer for Washington's guards as Beal and Wall combined for 53 points. Both were also very efficient as they shot more than 50 percent throughout the game. Marcin Gortat also contributed with 16 points while only missing two shots in the game as Washington won 117-106.
In that loss, Lou Williams and DeMar DeRozan both scored 20 for the Raptors but their downfall was the 66 percent shooting from the foul line. The team missed a total of 11 shots from the stripe, ironically the number of points they lost.
As the scene moves to Washington, the Raptors should show their talents by bouncing back and getting an important road win to try and take back home-court advantage.
For the Wizards, the next two games are played at home and it will be the perfect time to move for the finish and secure their place in the next round.
