Watch Abby Tackle Hijackers In Oct. 20 Episode 'Lockdown' Of 'NCIS'

In the fifth episode of Season 13 of "NCIS" titled "Lockdown," it is Abby who is trapped inside a pharmaceutical lab as armed men hijack the lab. Former NFL player Tony Gonzalez makes an appearance as NCIS Special Agent Tony Francis.

Fans of the "NCIS" procedural have long wanted a story to be centered on Abby and this is what they will get in the next episode of "NCIS" titled "Lockdown." The official synopsis of the episode reads: "While visiting a pharmaceutical lab on a murder case, Abby is trapped with no communication to the outside world after armed men take over the building and hold everyone hostage, on NCIS, Tuesday, Oct. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Tony Gonzalez, former NFL player and studio analyst for THE NFL TODAY on the Network and contributor for THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, guest stars as NCIS Special Agent Tony Francis."

Viewers might see Abby in a very different role as she has to keep the other people in the lab safe. She will have to negotiate with the hijackers.

Pauley Perrette plays Abby Sciuto, who works as a forensic scientist in NCIS. She is an expert in the fields of ballistics, digital forensics, and DNA analysis. Her character is very offbeat. She has a gothic style of dress and has a morbid interest in death and everything supernatural. At the same time, viewers have learnt not to take her at her looks as she is highly efficient at her work and loyal too.

Abby is full of eccentricities. She hates people who say they are vegans but still eat chicken. At work, she goes ballistic if people mishandle crime scene evidence.

The character of Abby has been a regular through the seasons of "NCIS" and it is fitting for her to have her own adventure in 'Lockdown.'

Meanwhile, fans of NFL on CBS will be happy to see Tony Gonzalez as a Special Agent with NCIS. His guest appearance seems to be for the sole reason of promoting Thursday Night Football on CBS.
