There are many reasons why Canada and the United States are allies and friends. Similar culture, similar history, and a great love of bacon.

As though there were not enough reasons for the love, another was shown last year at a hockey game in the Great White North.

At a Toronto Maple Leafs game scheduled to be played against the Nashville Predators, technical difficulties muted the U.S. National Anthem rendition.

In a first class act, the predominantly Canadian audience proceeded to sing with full accuracy the remainder of the "Star Spangled Banner."

A beautiful and touching rendition, the song showed that respect continues to exist between the Red, White and Blue and the, um, Red and White.

Posted to YouTube in November 2014, the video has gotten more than 6.4 million views and over 32,000 likes.

Yes, yes, it is a bit of an old video in Internet terms. But it is so feel-good that numerous views and comments continue to pour in for the viral moment.
