Grammy singers will pay a tribute to the late superstar in an event that will feature highlights of Houston's career. The special will also present never-seen-before footage and exclusive interviews.
The celebration was taped at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles in October. It stars performances from Hudson, singing Whitney Houston's version of "I'm Every Woman," "How Will I know" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody."
Seven-time Grammy winner Usher is also performing a tribute to Houston, singing "I Believe in You and Me."
Singers and fans, such as Britney Spears, Halle Berry, LL Cool J, Tariji P. Henson share about the impact and influence that the diva had on their musical careers.
"She inspired a generation of little girls and women to believe in their own dreams and to know that they had within themselves the greatest gift of all. I was one of those little girls who then became a woman who never ever, ever, stopped loving Whitney Houston," Halle Berry has said, according to CBS.
Whitney Houston died in February at the age of 48, the night before this year's Grammy Awards. She was found dead at a Beverly Hills, California hotel after reportedly ingesting a mix of prescription drugs and alcohol.
