'Welcome to the Ballroom' Episode 13 Spoilers: Tatara Finds His New Dance Partner as Second Cour Continues

The second half of Tatara's ballroom dance journey has just begun on the Japanese anime series, "Welcome to the Ballroom," and his potential new partner has very quickly proven herself to be a bigger challenge for Tatara than dancesport itself.

The new chapter of the story opened up with two new female characters, each of whom would serve as a partner for Sengoku and Tatara. But their strong personalities may well pose some problems when it comes to forming camaraderie with the two male protagonists.

Can Tatara possibly keep up with the new girl, and will he eventually be able to prove himself worthy of being her dance partner?

Moreover, Gaju and Tatara have ended up studying in the same high school, and the intense rivalry that they once had going on between them seemed to have turned into a much friendlier relationship.

And since this also happened between Tatara and Hyodo before Gaju came into the picture, one can't help but wonder if a new dance rival is about to come and make life much more complicated for Tatara.

The preview for the next episode, titled "Matchmaking," seems to be hinting on Tatara quite possibly finding his next dance partner. Will he be the one making the decision, or will dance itself make the all-important decision for him?

The series has been scheduled for a 24-episode run, and Tatara's journey towards ballroom excellence is far from over. Will he be able to find the perfect partner who can and will help him achieve his goals? How will his new partner be like on the dance floor, and what kind of relationship and interactions will the two of them have, both within the competition and outside in their everyday lives?

"Welcome to the Ballroom" airs on Sundays at 11:30 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes are also available for regions outside Japan via Amazon Prime's Anime Strike service.
