'Welcome to the Ballroom' Episode 15 Spoilers: Tatara and Chinatsu to Get Lessons on Leading and Following from New Instructor

From one conflicted partnership to the next, it seems that Tatara Fujita's competitive dance story only continues to get more complicated on the Japanese sports anime series, "Welcome to the Ballroom."

After meeting Chinatsu Hiyama's former dance partner, Akira Komoto, Tatara suddenly found himself partnering up with Chinatsu on a quest to qualify for the upcoming Grand Prix in order to show Akira up. There seems to be some bad blood between the two girls, and Tatara is once again caught between a rock and a hard place.

And all the guy ever wants is to keep on dancing his way to D-Class in order to once again compete on the same stage as Shizuku Hanaoka.

But how can Tatara even hope to achieve this goal if his partner continues to refuse being led by him, and has now even forced him to compromise and let the girl take the reins during the novice match that they have signed up for?

Tatara's impromptu decision might have worked well enough to let them dance through the final round, but the sight of it seems to have upset the award-winning dancer, Marisa Hyodo — so much so that she even took the time to approach the defeated couple and calmly tell Tatara off about letting a woman take the lead.

This defeat, however, may have just led to an unexpected blessing since the preview for the next episode shows Tatara and Chinatsu getting some lessons on leading and following from Marisa's students, who won the novice match in the previous episode.

Will this finally be the lesson that turns Tatara and Chinatsu into the perfectly matched dance partners that they have been struggling to be since the first time they took to the dance floor? And will this, in turn, finally turn them into the dance couple synchronized enough to make it all the way to the Grand Prix to defeat the gloating Akira?

"Welcome to the Ballroom" airs on Sundays at 11:30 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes are also available for regions outside Japan via Amazon Prime's Anime Strike service.
