Wendy Williams Breaks Down on TV Talk Show: 'My Son Doesn't Like Me Anymore,' She Says (VIDEO)

Wendy Williams broke down in tears while live on the air of her talk show Monday because of her issues with her teenage son. The gossip queen was discussing singer Madonna's troubles with her own 13-year-old son, Rocco, when the subject hit a little close to home.

Wendy Williams outburst and confession began while discussing the controversy surrounding Madonna, who called her son the n-word on Instagram and was forced to apologize. While Rocco apparently is very close with his famous mother, Williams can't say the same about her son Kevin Jr., and confessed her problems to her entire audience live.

"First of all, I want you to know, Rocco is 13 years old and Rocco is a real fan of his mother. What I discovered this weekend is that my son doesn't like me anymore," she said, getting emotional and grabbing a tissue. "You know how it is … I don't have my period."

She said that although she spends time with him, the teenager is more interested in his father, her husband Kevin Hunter.

"I discovered this a while ago, but the ball just got smacked home this weekend," Williams continued. "He's all into his father— you know how 13-year-olds are. I was the same way when I was 13, but it is breaking my heart."

She said her son asks her why she is angry all the time "like I'm the one with the problem!"

"Thank God he has his buddy and father," the talk show host added. "They talk sneakers, they go for haircuts, they speed off in the cars and I'm just left there!"

The 49-year-old said that Madonna is "lucky" Rocco is quite close with her. The Material Girl, 55, was forced to apologize for the n-word incident, however.

"There is no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention," the singer said in a statement. "It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it's a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression. Forgive me."
