'Wentworth' Season 5 To Focus on Allie Novak's Revenge Story?

There are still very limited plot hints about "Wentworth" season 5. However, there are some speculations that the next installment will be more about Allie Novak's (Kate Jenkinson) plan to avenge the death of her lover Bea Smith (Danielle Cormack).

A recent report by International Business Times recalls that fans are about to watch Allie waking up from a coma and will subsequently learn about Bea's death.

It can also be recalled that in Jenkinson's earlier interviews, she repeatedly presented the possibility for a revenge plot.

In her October 2016 interview with Curve Mag, Jenkinson talked about Allie's possible perspective now that Bea is gone, saying: "Bea's death makes Allie a much more interesting character. ... She's vulnerable, devastated, heart-broken and dangerously obsessed with revenge, so that's a far more interesting character than a happy girl with a crush."

In another earlier interview with After Allen, Jenkinson also discreetly presented the idea of revenge from Allie's side, saying, "People are going to want revenge. Specific people [points at self]. If you want to see justice for Bea, then watch season five."

Meanwhile, an alleged teaser for "Wentworth" season 5 has recently leaked through Twitter fan page @rabeisqueen. In the 15-second video, a woman from the Wentworth prison can be seen holding a red rose in her right hand.

While the video did not show anyone's face, fans were quick to assume that it is Allie because of the writing on the wall where her name and Bea's are inside a heart drawing. The leaked teaser adds to the speculations that season 5 is going to be mainly about Allie's revenge.

It can be remembered that Bea was brutally killed by Joan "The Freak" Ferguson (Pamela Rabe), who repeatedly stabbed her using the screwdriver that Bea has been hiding in her own prison cell.

Until this day, the cast and crew of the hit Australian show have been quiet about what's going to happen once the show comes back to the small screen.

"Wentworth" season 5 is expected to arrive this year. However, the release date has yet to be announced.
