WestJet Father's Day Surprise Shocks a Hard-Working Dad and Leaves You in Tears (VIDEO)
Father's Day came early for one hardworking dad thanks to Canadian airline WestJet, who reunited him with his sick son.
After Marc and Angela Grimard's younger son, Joel, was diagnosed with a congenital heart condition, Joel and Angela relocated 300 miles to a Ronald McDonald House in Edmonton, Alberta for treatment at a nearby children's hospital. Marc stayed home in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to work and to care for their older son, Mattieu.
WestJet teamed with longtime collaborator Ronald McDonald House to surprise Marc with free flights to reunite the separated family. And Marc need not worry about missing even an hour of work; WestJet employee Medel Villena trained to do his job while he was gone.
And to keep the goodwill going, WestJet will bring together another family for every 100,000 views the video receives, up to 500,000 views.
