What is Epiphany? 5 things every believer should know
5. The famous carol “The Twelve Days of Christmas” is based on Epiphany.
The evening before Epiphany is known as Twelfth Night, while the time period from Dec. 25 through Jan. 6 is known as the Twelve Days of Christmas, with the 6th being a “13th” day in some traditions.

But don’t sing for too long: at least one English superstition suggests it’s unlucky to keep your Christmas decorations up beyond the Twelfth Night.
