Whitney Houston Murdered By Thugs, P.I. Claims

A Hollywood detective claims to have uncovered shocking evidence that the late Whitney Houston was murdered despite an official autopsy concluding that she died of accidental drowning.

U.S. private investigator Paul Huebl has made the startling claims just six weeks shy of the first anniversary of Houston's death. He claims to have various evidence including CCTV footage which allegedly proves that the singer was brutally murdered by thugs whom she supposedly owed at least $1.5million to, the National Enquirer reports.

"I have evidence that points to Whitney being a victim of high-powered drug dealers who sent thugs to collect a huge debt she owed for drugs," Huebl told the publication. Contrary to a Coroner's report, he also believes that her body did in fact show signs of foul play.

"Whitney's body shows classic defense wounds that would have occurred while she was battling for her life," Huebl said.

Houston was found dead on Feb. 11 after drowning in her hotel bathtub, and her death has been ruled an accident by the coroner's office. The autopsy report states that a "spoon with a white crystal like substance in it, a rolled up piece of white paper from off the top of a counter along the east wall of the bathroom" were found in Houston's Beverly Hilton Hotel room, according to the 42-page report.

Coroner's officials cited heart disease and cocaine use as contributing factors, and Houston is believed to have consumed a cocktail of prescription drugs before her death, including anti-anxiety drugs Xanax, Lorazepam and Valium, according to Radar Online.

Huebl claims that the two thugs were caught trying to pass off as member's of Houston's entourage in the days leading up to her untimely death. On the day she died there was allegedly a 45-minute "gap" which is supposedly when 48-year-old Houston's killers were caught on camera entering her hotel room.
