Wichita finished that third round game with 14 of 28 from three point range, and they will be hoping to raise the bar even further tonight.
This is the first time that Wichita State have made it to the Sweet 16 round since 2006, when they were knocked out by George Mason. They will be hoping to go at least one better tonight.
The Explorers meanwhile are a much smaller side than their opponents tonight, and could be destroyed on the boards. Wichita was the 7th best in the nation with a +8.4 rebounding margin. Where as La Salle were a lowly 278th with a -3.0 margin.
