The wife of country music star Craig Strickland has looked to Scripture as officials called off the search for her missing husband for yet another night due to poor weather conditions.

Helen Strickland, who wed Craig in November, took to social media on Tuesday evening to thank supporters for their prayers, and to reference Psalm 56:8.

"The search is called for the night, will resume in the morning," Helen wrote on Tuesday evening, adding, "We are overwhelmed with the love and prayers we have received. Thank you all."

"'You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.' — Psalm 56:8," Helen, who is a former Miss Arkansas USA winner, added in her tweet.

Search crews have reportedly been combing through the area of Kaw Lake, in Kay County, Oklahoma, after Strickland's 29-year-old husband and his 22-year-old friend, Chase Morland, went missing after embarking on a duck hunting trip on Saturday.

Family members alerted authorities that the pair was missing after they failed to make contact by Saturday evening.

Strickland and Morland had begun their hunting trip as winter storm Goliath struck Oklahoma and other parts of the south over the weekend.

Helen confirmed via social media on Monday morning that authorities had discovered the body of Morland and the pair's capsized hunting boat.

The country music star's wife later revealed on social media that Strickland's dog, Sam, had survived the storm and was found next to Morland's body.

Strickland's band, Backroad Anthem, also took to Facebook to update fans on search efforts and ask for prayers.

The band shared a photo on Wednesday of a guitar and a sunset, with a caption honoring Craig and praying for his safe return.

"For those of you who don't know Craig, he is the most passionate person that we know! He is on fire for God, his wife, his family, his life, and this band. Craig is by far the best communicator that we have ever seen. His passion for music and the stage are what many times have kept us going miles and miles down the road," the band wrote on Facebook.

"We want our fans, friends, and loved ones to know Craig is an amazing person, husband, son, bandmate, and most certainly best friend. As we continue to pray today for his safe return home, admire this picture and know the God he serves [and] we serve can do anything, even as small as some would think in painting this sunset for all to see today. We love you, we thank you for being so kind and generous in your words, thoughts, and prayers," the band added.
