Wii U Bundle to Offer 32GB Console with The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD
Nintendo may have a new 32GB Wii U bundle that includes The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD coming this fall.
The information was leaked by a source from retailer Target to Destructoid where they said the information was on the company's internal tracking system.
According to this report the new 32GB Wii U will retail for $349.99, the same price as the standard none bundled version.
Destructoid also said two 3DS XL offers will offer Pokemon X/Y with the system for just $199.99.
Although the exact date is unknown, one can speculate an October release because Wind Waker and Pokemon will be releasing then.
Pokémon X and Pokémon Y fans will be able to get their first chance to demo the game at the PAX conference in 10 days as Nintendo's latest addition to their famed franchise comes to the 3DS.
The Japanese gaming company made the announcement today and said the PAX conference will also include a Pokémon Gaming Lounge, that will be on the second floor of the Washington State Convention Center, where the event is held.
According to Kotaku, a demo version of the game along with "swag" will be found inside.
The bundles for the Wii U are undoubtedly a sign Nintendo is trying to offer a sweeter pot for their console as the sales have hit an all time low. The 3DS is on the opposite side of the spectrum as it was the highest selling console of July.
According to Ubergizmo.com, Nintendo did not share the exact numbers but stated they received an increase of 14% over July of 2012.
It took a few years for the 3DS to really pick up as it was looking like a complete failure for Nintendo. However, steadily sales began to creep up as the handheld's library grew and its predecessor, the DS, faded out.
