Wii U Controller Promotion: Nintendo Releases Princess Peach-Themed Motion Plus Remote for Mario Kart 8 (PHOTO)
Nintendo is releasing a Princess Peach-themed Wii remote to go along with their Mario and Luigi models.
The Wii Plus controller will be pink, with blue home buttons, yellow d-pad, and a white A button. A crown design will be over the speaker on the remote, and the overall feel matches well with what Peach wears. See a picture of the remote between the Mario and Luigi models here.
Coming later this month, the remote will retail for $39.99, and will be usable for both the Wii and Wii U. The promotion is just in time for the upcoming Mario Kart 8 game, which will be released on May 30.

Nintendo has been producing a lot of themed models as of late.
Currently they are offering a Yoshi themed 3DS XL, that features the dinosaur's green and yellow color scheme and even features a trail of eggs on the back of the handheld. This is in promotion of Yoshi's New Island.
Another female is getting some royal treatment from Nintendo, Minnie Mouse. Minnie will have a special pink peach 2DS handheld for the upcoming game, Disney Magical World.
The mouse's boyfriend Mickey, will be getting his very own 3DS XL as well.
Both of these handhelds feature the color stylings on their characters and are geared toward younger children.
