"I can't talk too much detail right now, but I will say that this new title has been keeping me busy lately," the Nintendo legend said.

Miyamoto spoke on the new "Super Mario 3D World," "Mario Kart 8," and "Pikmin 3," as well as updates coming to the system.

"With the most recent version update," he told Polygon.com, "the system runs a lot better, and while there will continue to be improvements in the future, I think it's to the point where it's a convenient thing to have in the living room. Of course, these sorts of updates mean nothing if we don't put out games for it, and I hope people are looking forward to the games coming up."

In Nintendo's 45-minute long video presentation at E3, the Wii U showed off some of the new games they have in the works. They previewed a number of classic franchise returns and revived forgotten ones through their own company and third party game-makers.

Games such as Mario Kart 8, Smash Brothers, Xenosage, and Bayonetta may see shelves in the spring of next year, according to Ars Technica.

This holiday season, Nintendo will have a modest showing of what they have to offer with: Super Mario 3D Land, Legend of Zelda: Windwaker in HD, Donkey Kong Country 2D, Lost World (Sonic the Hedgehog) and a the new Wii Fit.

Nintendo has a strange relationship with third party titles and many times the games differ greatly from its peers XBox and PlayStation.

This time around, however, the Wii U's presentation promised some major ports coming to the system.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Batman: Arkham Origins, Disney Infinity, Just Dance 2014, Rayman Legends, Scribblenauts Unlimited: A DC Comics Adventure, Disney's Planes, Skylanders SWAP Force, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and Watch Dogs will all be making an appearance on the console, according to Ars Technica.
