Will and Jada Beach Outing: Smiths Vacation in Hawaii With Willow (PHOTOS)

Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith were photographed enjoying a beach outing with their teenage daughter Willow on Monday.

The famous family recently took a trip to Hawaii days after putting Willow's photo controversy behind them. Will, 45, appeared to be in good spirits while embracing his actress wife, 42, along the beach as their daughter watched on.

Last month Willow made headlines when an instagram photo showing herself lying in bed with a family friend sparked outrage.

The "Whip My Hair" singer, 13, was pictured lying next to former Disney Channel star Moises Arias, 20, who was shirtless. Arias, who is said to be a family friend of the Smith's, once starred in the Disney Channel's hit show "Hannah Montana."

"Here's the deal: There was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation," Jada told gossip site TMZ.com on May 7, at Los Angeles International Airport.

"You guys are projecting your trash onto it and you're acting like covert pedophiles, and that's not cool," she explained.

The controversy prompted The Los Angeles County Department of Children & Family Services to launch an investigation after the agency received an anonymous tip about the photo. The case was eventually closed due to a lack of evidence, much to the relief of the Smith family.

"There has been no evidence presented that Willow has ever been in any danger around Moises, or that she has ever been physically or emotionally abused," a source told RadarOnline.com.

"It's likely the investigation will remain open for the next two weeks out of an abundance of caution, with no findings of reprimand against Will and Jada," the source continued. "Willow is a very well adjusted, smart, and articulate young lady."

Will, a father of three, once opened up about his and Jada's parenting methods. The Academy award-winning actor revealed that he and his wife of 17 years do not believe in punishing their children.

"We don't do punishment. The way that we deal with our kids is, they are responsible for their lives," he told the UK's Metro.

"Our concept is, as young as possible, give them as much control over their lives as possible and the concept of punishment, our experience has been -- it has a little too much of a negative quality ... you can do anything you want as long as you can explain to me why that was the right thing to do for your life," he explained.
