Will and Jada Smith Divorce Rumors 'All Lies,' Sons Declare
Despite the divorce rumors still floating around, Will and Jada-Pinkett Smith were photographed together on Wednesday, laughing and talking over brunch at the beach in Malibu.
TMZ reported that sources at Bob Morris’ Beach Café said the couple seemed “happy and normal.”
Trey Smith, Will’s son from a previous marriage, wrote on Twitter: “Will and Jada in Malibu #TOGETHER see #ItsAllLies.”
“#ItsAllLies,” brother Jaden Smith also tweeted.
Speculation and rumors have continued to circulate despite the statement Will and Jada issued on Tuesday regarding their supposed split and potential divorce.
The couple’s publicist said in a statement, “Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together and our marriage is intact.”
Their assertion of an “intact” marriage comes after In Touch Weekly reported that an inside source told of the couple’s split in an exclusive interview. Since the report was published, rumors of the break-up have gone viral and yesterday’s statement has done little to quell the whispers of divorce.
TMZ reported on Wednesday that In Touch Weekly claimed in early August Will had growing suspicions that Pinkett was having an affair with Marc Anthony.
The magazine wrote that Will found Jada and her “HawthoRNe” co-star together and Smith allegedly left the house crying.
However, Karynne Tencer, Jada’s rep, told People Magazine on Tuesday: “All the rumors regarding Marc Anthony and Jada are false. Completely untrue. As for [the reports of a split between] Will and Jada, I’m not commenting on their personal life.”
“We unequivocally deny this. Enough is enough. There are families involved, friendships involved. This is NOT true,” Anthony’s rep added, according to People.
Meanwhile, a source close to TMZ said that Marc was at Jada’s home, but in April – not August.
In Touch also claimed that Will and Jada have been living separate lives for months.
TMZ wrote that sources close to the couple said they have not separated, but there are serious problems in their marriage.
The couple met on the set of Smith’s show, “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air,” and married in 1997. Will and Jada have three children: sons Trey and Jaden and daughter Willow.
