Will Casey Anthony Do $350,000 First Interview?

Medical Examiner: Caylee's Death 'Was Homicide'

Casey Anthony has reportedly been offered $350,000 for her first media interview, just as one expert is insisting her 2-year-old daughter Caylee was definitely murdered.

The 25-year-old who was acquitted of killing her daughter Caylee in July has been offered the cash by Nik Lamas-Richie, who runs TheDirty.com, according to Radar Online.

Although Richie has neither confirmed nor denied the reports, sources claim that if Anthony accepts, the interview will be pre-recorded and videotaped as part of the Nik Richie Radio show.

Anthony's attorney Jose Baez recently threatened to sue alleged hackers, who are responsible for pictures and videos of his client appearing on YouTube on Friday.

Critics blasted Anthony for failing to mention her dead daughter and her casual demeanor presented in the videos.

“I just pierced my nose last night,” she said. “Yes, very exciting," Anthony casually said in the second video, which Baez insists was leaked.

Caylee's remains were found in a trash bag near the Anthony home in December of 2008, months after Anthony reported her as missing.

Although Anthony was initially charged in Caylee's murder, jurors eventually found her not guilty of murder after Baez argued that Caylee had, in fact, accidentally drowned in the family swimming pool.

The case quickly gained global interest after Anthony's purported inconsistencies were exposed, forcing critics to question her credibility.

Many still argue that Anthony killed her daughter, and insist that jurors simply got it wrong.

One of those critics is Chief Medical Examiner for Orange and Osceola counties in Florida, Dr. Jan Garavaglia, who also examined Caylee's body.

"It was a homicide … Without a doubt," Geravaglia recently told Anderson Cooper on his talk show "Anderson.”

Although Gervaglia is confident that Anthony played a vital role in Caylee's death mainly due to her behavior, she admits that "there was nothing I can scientifically prove."

According to sources, a number of well known news networks have blacklisted Anthony and refuse to pay her for interviews to prevent what could end up being backlash from the general public.

If Richie lands Anthony's first interview, some fear that he will be the targeted and heavily criticized by those who still think that she murdered Caylee.

Baez is urging the public to accept Anthony's acquittal, and allow her to move on with her life.

“You know, a person should be able to live and have their own privacy and people should respect their privacy,” Baez recently said on Fox News' “Geraldo at Large.”
