Will Ferrell and Adam McKay Return With 'Swear to God'
Hollywood funny man Will Ferrell is set to star in another comedy, “Swear to God.”
The film will take a satirical look at the economic crisis of the last few years and if Ferrell’s movie track record is anything to go by, cinemagoers can expect more oddball humor.
Ferrell will play the part of a narcissistic hedge fund manager who thinks he’s seen God.
The script for “Swear to God” has been written by the writers of “King of the Hill” and “Due Date,” Alan Cohen and Alan Freedland.
It’ll be the seventh time that Ferrell and director Adam McKay have worked together. McKay has previously directed Ferrell in “Anchorman,” “Talladega Nights” and “Step Brothers.”
Their most recent joint project was “The Other Guys,” which starred Mark Wahlberg.
Ferrell, McKay and Wahlberg are also working together on a football comedy, which will also star Alec Baldwin.
