Will Ferrell as NBA Announcer Cracks Jokes About Players (VIDEO)
Actor Will Ferrell took his comedic talent to the court Wednesday night, using his booming voice to introduce teammates for the Chicago Bulls-New Orleans Hornets Game in Louisiana.
Ferrell cracked jokes about each player as they jogged out onto the court. Ferrell seemed to be enjoying himself as he effortlessly spoke to a crowd of over 15,000 spectators.
The 44-year-old comedian introduced Chicago Bulls' forward Carlos Boozer by saying: "He still lives with his mother."

Ferrell then introduced Luol Deng, also a Bulls forward, by saying: "He collects rare birds and has a pet dolphin named Chachi."
Next the New Orleans Hornets entered the court. The home team naturally received a more elaborate greeting. Ferrell stood on a platform as machines on either side of him spouted jets of smoke into the air.
"He doesn't speak a lick of English but we still love him," Ferrell said about power forward and center Gustavo Ayon, who originally hails from Mexico.
"After basketball, his dream is to become a rodeo clown," Ferrell said of Jarrett Jack, who plays guard for the Hornets.
Ferrell, who gained notoriety through his comedic acting on live television skit show "Saturday Night Live," also takes on leading roles in the comedy films, such as "Anchorman" and "Talladega Nights."
Although he is a self-pronounced Lakers fan, Ferrell has been spotted at several Hornets games in the past.
His introduction was likely the highlight of the evening for the home fans packing the New Orleans Arena, as Chicago won Wednesday's game 90 to 67.
A team spokesperson later announced that Ferrell was filming a new movie, "Dog Fight," at the game and agreed to do the player announcements as well.
"I don't think [the players] knew that he was going to poke some fun at them," the spokesperson said, according to New York Daily News. "But I know that they enjoyed it."
