'Will & Grace' Season 9 Spoilers: Beverly Jordan Returns; Will and Grace Progress in Their Careers

The upcoming episode of "Will & Grace" season 9 will see the titular duo each taking a huge step forward in their respective careers.

The synopsis of the next episode, titled "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Crying," states that Grace (Debra Messing) will be faced with the huge job of decorating a series of boutique hotels. However, she may run into some problems with the obnoxious owner (guest star Max Greenfield) of the hotels.

Elsewhere, Will (Eric McCormack) will be promoted to Senior Partner, though his reaction to the news shocks him. It remains to be seen how he will receive the news, but it will definitely make for some good laughs. Jack (Sean Hayes), on the other hand, has a winning lottery ticket, but he only owns half of it.

Finally, Karen (Megan Mullally) will be in for a surprise when Beverly Leslie (Leslie Jordan) returns. Beverly will reveal Will's secret to his frenemy.

A teaser trailer for the new episode has also been released. And while it does not preview Grace and Will's career milestones, it does feature the return of Beverly. He enters the room while being carried by a man and utters his catchphrase, "Well, well, well." It is clear from the brief exchange shown in the trailer that Karen and Beverly are still frenemies.

Beverly's return may certainly be surprising to viewers since he was last seen dying in the series finale of the original run of "Will & Grace." However, since the revival is totally ignoring the events of the finale, Beverly's comeback makes a lot of sense.

In the previous episode, titled "Grandpa Jack," Jack got a visit from Skip (Jet Jurgensmeyer), who turned out to be his grandson. Jack's estranged son Elliot (Michael Angarano) then came by with his wife. It was then revealed that they were taking Skip to a conversion camp. Jack and Will went to the camp to take matters into their own hands.

Jack told his grandson that he is totally fine the way he is and that he does not need to be fixed. In the end, Elliot decided that Skip need not continue going to that camp and even offered Jack the opportunity to take his grandson to his first Broadway show.

"Will & Grace" season 9 airs Thursdays, at 9 p.m. EDT on NBC.
