Will Rihanna Leave Roc Nation After Jay-Z's Fury Over Chris Brown?
Jay-Z is reportedly furious about Rihanna and Chris Brown's reconciliation, and critics fear that his objection could finally push Rihanna to leave Roc Nation once and for all.
As the Christian Post previously reported friends and family of 24-year-old Rihanna have expressed concern for the singer's well-being following reports that she has rekindled her relationship with Brown, and it has now been revealed that her long-time mentor Jay-Z is among those who object to their reconciliation, according to Radar Online.
"Jay was absolutely disgusted by what Chris did to Rihanna. Jay doesn't understand how a man could ever lay hands on a woman; it just goes against who he is and about. Chris is absolutely dead to Jay, he wants nothing to do with him ever," a source told Radar.

"Now that Rihanna is hooking up with Chris and recording songs with him, Jay is deeply disappointed in her actions. He can't fathom why Rihanna is doing the things she is doing. He understands the need for forgiveness, but he is adamant that Rihanna shouldn't forget what Chris did to her. Jay wonders what kind of message this is sending to Rihanna's young female fans," the source added.
Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, is the owner of Roc Nation, a record label that manages Rihanna and in September various media outlets, including 102 Jams radio and Blind Gossip, reported that Rihanna came close to leaving Roc Nation, after feeling pressured by Jay-Z to stop seeing 22-year-old Brown.
Rihanna is reportedly still in love with Brown and she has forgiven him for assaulting her in 2009, so she feels compelled to give him a second chance, according to reports.
"Chris was a strong first love for her that she wants to hold on to. They had a violent, stormy relationship. Her friends obviously think this reunion is crazy -- but nobody can tell Rihanna what to do," a friend of Rihanna's told Us magazine.
Critics are now questioning whether Jay-Z's objection to Rihanna's involvement with the Grammy award winning singer will result in her finally walking away from Roc Nation, after reports that she has become defiant towards those trying to break them apart.
"Rihanna knows how Jay feels about Chris, but she doesn't care, she is going to do what she wants," the source told Radar.
Rihanna and Brown have recently been spending an increasing amount of time together, as Brown attended her 24th birthday party earlier this month and the two just recorded their collaborated song "Birthday Cake."
