Women's 4x100M Relay Final Live Stream: Watch Online Track and Field From London 2012 Olympics (Time 3.40PM)

The women's 4x100M relay final in the London 2012 Olympics track and field events will take place on Friday and see eight nations fight it out for the gold medal. The race can be watched online through live stream from 3.40 p.m. ET (details below).

Team USA will be one of the favorites going into the final, having clocked up the fastest time in the qualifying rounds of the women's 4x100 meter relay. The U.S. put on a fast showing to qualify, registering a time of 41.64 seconds.

Trinidad and Tobago will also be among the favorites to push for gold, and their four sprinters put on a time just behind Team USA's in the qualifying, hitting a mark of 42.31 seconds.

USA have recently overtaken China to go top of the medal table, winning in both the overall medal count table, as well as the most gold medals. A large portion of that turn around has been thanks to the track and field team of the Team USA 2012 squad. So far from the London 2012 Olympic Games the U.S. has taken a total of 24 medals.

Jamaica have claimed the second most with nine medals in total from the track and field; with three coming yesterday when Usain bolt won the 200m sprint and his countrymen took the silver and bronze medals as well.

That was only the second time in history that a country and swept the board and taken all the medals on offer from the men's 200 meter race.

Overall there are 47 track and field gold medals to be won from the London Olympics.

The women's 4x100M relay final will also include teams from Nigeria, Ukraine, Jamaica, Brazil and the Netherlands. All the action can be watched online at 3.40 p.m. ET through live stream by clicking here.
