Another time period that the film will explore is World War I, specifically 1916. It was reported that the story will explore the conflict of that time. There are speculations that this setting will link to the happenings of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

The last act will take place during the modern day. This is expected to lead to the events of the formation of "Justice League Pt. 1." The film "Justice League Pt. 1" is also expected to feature Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

With these time periods, it was reported that Wonder Woman will be featuring several outfits in order to evolve with each setting.

The film will begin production next month, November. The filming will take place in several locations in London, England, as well as in the island of Basilicata, Italy, under the direction of Patty Jenkins.

Actress Gal Gadot recently shared details about her upcoming role as Wonder Woman. She said, "I feel like I've been given a huge opportunity to inspire people, not only women. And not because of me but because of who Wonder Woman is and what she stands for. There's a lot of responsibility. But I have the best team and the best people to work with. It's going to be an amazing ride."

"Wonder Woman" will be released on June 23, 2017.
