'World of Warcraft' News: Legendary Drop Rates Have Improved, According to Blizzard
Increases to Legendary drop rates inside 'World of Warcraft' were rolled out first via Patch 7.1
Hunting for Legendary items inside "World of Warcraft" can be a challenging and time-consuming ordeal, but it's apparently not quite as difficult as it used to be.
In a post on the game's official forums, community manager "Ornyx" recently talked about the changes that have been made to Legendary drop rates and how they have been increased.
First off, "Ornyx" acknowledged that the drop rates for the Legendary items were hiked up when Patch 7.1 was rolled out for the game, and that more tweaks followed once Patch 7.1.5 was released.
Many players apparently noticed when these Legendary drop rate increases were implemented via the aforementioned patches, but it appears that those rates are still moving up.
According to "Ornyx," the developers have steadily been increasing the players' chances of acquiring Legendary items even after those first tweaks were applied. What that means now is that players may find it easier to obtain these valuables inside "World of Warcraft."
Furthermore, developers have also made it easier for players to acquire not just one Legendary item, but multiple Legendary items.
"Ornyx" continued by revealing that players will still have the highest drop rates while they are still looking for their Legendary item, and there will still be a bonus present even as they go after their second one.
Interestingly enough, however, after players secure their first pair of Legendary items, their chances of acquiring their third Legendary and even their seventh or eighth will still remain the same.
This means that players who are willing to invest the time needed may find that it is easier now for them to finally collect more Legendary items inside the game, or at least it may be easier to pull that off now than it may have been not too long ago.
More news about "World of Warcraft" should be made available soon.
