World Series 2017 Schedule, Tickets Information, TV Channel, Preview: Dodgers vs. Astros
The World Series 2017 will see a showdown between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Houston Astros.
The latter recently punched their ticket to the championship by beating the New York Yankees at Game 7 at the American League Championship Series.
This is only the second time that the Dodgers and the Astros will meet in the history of the Major League Baseball (MLB) championship series. The first time was back at the 1981 National League Divisional Series, which the Dodgers won 3–2.
Astros have only won the pennant twice — once in 2005 when they were still part of the National League back in 2005 before they moved to the American League. Whether a third is happening or not, baseball fans will learn soon.
This is also a historic moment for the Dodgers as the team has not been in the World Series since 1988 although the years before that they have shown domination, having won the pennant 22 times, with six titles.
For their spot at the World Series 2017, the Dodgers defeated the defending champion Chicago Cubs at the National League Championship Series after only five games.
The Dodgers and the Astros officially battle it out on Tue, Oct. 24, at 8:09 p.m. ET. Fans can watch it all go down on Fox channel or stream it at the Fox Sports Go.
The next game will take place the next day at the same timeslot. Game 3 will be held on Friday, Oct. 27, at 8:09 p.m. ET as well. Game 4, which may or may not mark the end of the World Series 2017 should a team dominate the first three, is scheduled Sat, Oct. 28, at the same timeslot.
The final three World Series 2017 games, if the teams will need them, will happen on Sunday, Oct. 29, at 8:16 p.m. then on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 8:09 p.m. then on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 8:10 p.m. Those who want to be part of the action can purchase tickets at StubHub.
