World's Smallest Puppy Same Size as iPhone (PHOTO)

Beyoncé may be a very powerful singer, but she also has a smaller counterpart. Meet Beyoncé the puppy, who just may be the smallest in the world.

The puppy was born on March 8, the smallest of a litter of five. Beyoncé's pregnant mom was found along the side of the road in Northern California and quickly taken to The Grace Foundation, which takes care of abandoned dogs. Beyoncé, the last one born, did not have a heartbeat at birth.

Veterinarians were able to revive the little pup via mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compressions. She has since gone on to win the hearts of everyone she meets and, according to a press release by The Grace Foundation, has cheated death four times.

"At one day old, Beyoncé was so small she could fit into a spoon. Due to her small size, Beyoncé needed to be bottle-fed every hour because her mouth was too small to be able to nurse properly. Now at almost two weeks old, Beyoncé is almost as big as an iPhone," says The Grace Foundation.

The puppy has risen to fame, appearing on Good Morning Sacramento to celebrate World Puppy Day. Beyoncé will be available for adoption in two weeks if she continues to improve. However, she will need a lot of additional care and support, as she is still too small to eat puppy food and is more susceptible to disease.

Beyoncé even has her own admirers on Twitter. "Teeny. Tiny. Puppy. Oh, my heart," tweeted Jennifer Wilson.

"I saw her today on the Today Show. The world's smallest puppy!! This is beyond cute!" observed user Ladii.

Should Beyoncé be named the Guinness World Record holder for world's smallest dog, she will unseat title-holder Heaven Sent Brandy, a female Chihuahua who is only six inches long. She has held the title since 2005.
