WrestleMania 33 News: The Undertaker Takes Final Bow at WWE
After his brutal match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33, The Undertaker took his final bow at the WWE, leaving the crowd in tears. The Undertaker started his WWE career 27 years ago, and since then, has been known as one of the most popular superstars in the history of WWE.
Before he signaled his retirement from wrestling, The Undertaker fought Roman Reigns and lost. To the disappointment of fans, the superstar had to take Reigns' Superman punches and was even pinned on a table during the fight. The match left his WrestleMania record end at 23–2.
After the fight, The Undertaker got up and the crowd applauded him. As the camera panned around the stadium, the wrestler reemerged in his classic long coat and hat, wandering around the ring. After a while, he took off his hat, coat and MMA gloves, leaving them in the middle of the ring and making his way up the long ramp with his arm raised in the air. Without a word, The Undertaker slowly disappeared with Reigns left in the ring to pay tribute to the wrestling legend.

While neither The Undertaker nor the WWE has confirmed that his final act at the recent WrestleMania event marked the finality of his career, fans took the gesture as his way of saying goodbye. Speculations about his retirement even heightened when a 2003 interview with the wrestler surfaced, where The Undertaker explained when he would finally decide to call it quits.
"My biggest worry in life, as far as wrestling is concerned, is that I'm in the ring and some father who watched me for years takes his son and goes, 'You know son, this is the Undertaker here... boy, I wish you could've seen him when' ... That means it's time for me to hang it up," he said. Considering the physical struggles he had during the match, some fans believe that it was high time for the 52-year-old Undertaker to retire.
