'WWE 2K16' New Characters List Rumors: Reveals 120 Wrestlers on Largest Roster So Far

Take Two Interactive division, 2K Sports is making up for the lukewarm reception with which fans greeted "WWE 2K15," adding more wrestling personalities to round off a 120-strong roster.

Boasting the largest roundup in the history of the wrestling video game series, the Yuke's and Visual Concepts-developed sports game franchise has added a total of 18 wrestlers just this week, with more additions expected in the coming months before the game's fall release date.

This week's reveal has mixed a number of legends, semi-active stars like Triple H, and current wrestlers. Speculations have emerged that former UFC champ, Brock "Beast Incarnate" Lesnar, will be making his way to the roster soon.

So far, "WWE 2K16" has confirmed the presence of Seth Rollins, Finn Balor (regular and demon versions), Bad News Barrett, John Cena, Dean Ambrose, Paige, Daniel Bryan, Steve "Stone Cold" Austin, Triple H, Tamina, Summer Rae, Sin Cara, Lord Steven Regal, Kane, Kalisto, General Adnan, Eva Marie, Emma, Colonel Mustafa, and Booker T.

Owing to controversial racist language he was heard to have said in tapes that surfaced recently, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has been omitted from the 2K16 roster. However, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be making an appearance as The Terminator.

To make up for the limited modes featured in last year's title due to the game's engine upgrade, "WWE 2K16" will be bringing back My Career and the 2K Showcase. The developers have also expanded the Creation Suite.

"WWE 2K16" is expected to launch for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on October 27 in North America, and on October 30 for the rest of the world. Players who pre-order the game will also receive two playable versions of The Terminator, as played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie franchise.
