Apparent Commentary Error Discovered in 'Hall of Fame Showcase' pack for 'WWE 2K17'
Players reporting other issues related to 'WWE 2K17's' 'Hall of Fame Showcase' pack
The "Hall of Fame Showcase" downloadable content pack was released just recently for "WWE 2K17," and along with bringing some new wrestlers to the game, it also appears to have included a commentary error.
The apparent error was noticed by Twitter user "@KungFu_Grip" and it was included in a video.
In the video, players can see The Godfather and Papa Shango – two of the wrestlers included in the DLC pack – squaring off against one another.

The match seems to be proceeding as expected right up until the 21-second mark when commentator and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler suddenly stops talking.
Later on in the video, Lawler even seems to have noticed that he made a mistake and attempts to say his commentary lines again.
Aside from this apparent commentary error, it appears that players may have encountered other issues related to the "Hall of Fame Showcase" pack.
Over on Twitter, some players have reported having issues as they tried to go through the contents of the DLC pack.
Other players have indicated that the game crashes when they attempted to try out the features included in the "Hall of Fame Showcase" pack.
It's unclear how many players are affected by these aforementioned issues.
Notably, the DLC pack allows wrestling fans to play through seven different matches, according to a recent post on the game's official website.
The matches included are Ivory vs. Jacqueline, Big Boss Man vs. The Big Show, Sting vs. Ric Flair, Wolfpac Sting vs. Bret Hart, Kerry and Kevin Von Erich vs. The Fabulous Freebirds made up of Buddy Roberts and Michael Hayes, Cactus Jack and Diamond Dallas Page vs. The Fabulous Freebirds again featuring Michael Hayes but his partner for this match is Jimmy Garvin. The previously mentioned Godfather and Papa Shango bout is also included in the pack.
"WWE 2K17" players can get the "Hall of Fame Showcase" for $9.99 or as part of the game's $29.99 season pass.
