WWE and Ronda Rousey Rumors: Two Matches For Ex-UFC Champ Featuring Horsewomen?

Ronda Rousey might be bound for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). The former UFC champ could be featured in two matches that WWE is allegedly cooking up.

One match will likely pit Rousey and her friends Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir and Shayna Baszler against the group of Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley (Pamela Martinez). The fight will be dubbed as Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen that could be featured at the Survivor Series.

The second match, on the other hand, might have Rousey back at Wrestlemania and fighting against Stephanie McMahon or Flair in single event. Rousey faced off McMahon when she joined WrestleMania 31 in 2015 for the very first time, alongside The Rock.

Rousey, however refused to verify reports on her planned matches at the WWE. Rousey remained tight-lipped about the rumors during a recent public appearance in Las Vegas even as the press hounded her on the red carpet while attending a fight that featured her friend, Baszler.

"Tonight's all about Shayna," Rousey told the press. "I'm just here to support Shayna and I don't want to be the kind of person that shows up to support her friend and ends up talking about herself all night."

Rousey ignited rumors of her WWE appearance because she has been a constant presence as a spectator in the last few weeks. Her subsequent losses at UFC also have fans speculating that she might shift to WWE, which other wrestlers seem to embrace.

"I think she would be great at it because she would dedicate herself just like she has to everything else in her life," superstar and WWE executive Triple H remarked on Rousey's potential entry.

Rousey was a former UFC Women's Bantamweight champ. Her first loss was against Holly Holm in November 2015. It took her nearly to embark on another fight against Amanda Nuns in December 2016. Rousey, however, lost that match too.

She recently made headlines again for her August wedding to UFC's Travis Browne in Hawaii, her home state.
