WWE & John Cena News: Can Cena Arrive On Time For This Week's RAW?
John Cena may have a lot on his hands already, but speculations claimed that the 13-times WWE Champion may be back on Monday night's "RAW" event in San Jose.
The professional wrestler just had a face-off with Rusev at the WWE live event that was held in Shenzhen, China on Sunday, Sept. 17. Cena managed to defeat the Bulgarian wrestler by pinning him with the Attitude Adjustment technique in a match that happened before the show's intermission. This means that he could opt to take the first plane out of China to embark on a 17-hour flight back to the US to make it in time for this week's episode of "RAW."
While there are no confirmed reports yet if the 40-year-old professional wrestler will be on stage on the next "RAW" event, a promotional blurb about his upcoming bout against current nemesis Roman Reigns has been posted.
According to the promo teaser, "John Cena and Roman Reigns' microphone battles have gotten more intense each week since The Cenation Leader arrived on Raw to test Roman Reigns' mettle, and a heated confrontation six nights before their anticipated dream match at WWE No Mercy seems inevitable."
The blurb also mentioned that Cena may have the advantage against Reigns in terms of verbal combat, The Big Dog might still have several cutting remarks saved under his sleeves when their match begins for the upcoming No Mercy pay-per-view event that is scheduled to be held on Sunday, Sept. 24.
Aside from Cena and Reigns' match, those who are looking forward to catch the WWE No Mercy event will be able to find out who will win in the Women's Championship bout between Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, and Emma, as well as the Tag Team Championship between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose against Sheamus and Cesaro.
Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt will also settle the score between each other, while Cruiserweight champion Neville will try to defend his title against Enzo Amore.
