WWE: 'Superstar Shake-Up' To Take Place Next Week, 'Trades, Deals and Other Moves' Will Be Made

AJ Styles rumored to be one of the wrestlers who could be on the move, thanks to the 'Superstar Shake-Up'

The landscape of the WWE could be changing again soon, as something known as the "Superstar Shake-Up" will be happening next week.

For those who may have missed it, WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon made a surprise appearance on the latest episode of "Monday Night Raw" to announce the aforementioned event.

McMahon added that newly named "Monday Night Raw" general manager Kurt Angle and his "SmackDown Live" counterpart Daniel Bryan are already engaged in discussions related to the event.

An article posted on WWE.com then fleshed out the announcement further, revealing that both brands will be given chances "to make trades, deals and other moves that they feel fit."

As longtime fans of the WWE will likely recognize, this "Superstar Shake-Up" seems somewhat different from the drafts that have happened previously wherein wrestlers were chosen at random.

Instead, it now looks like the storyline general managers of both brands will now have full control over the roster changes that take place.

That now leads to the question of which WWE wrestlers may actually be the ones that end up getting involved in the "Superstar Shake-Up?"

Given his still immense star power, John Cena is always a candidate to be moved, especially if the folks at the WWE feel that he once again deserves the big stage provided by "Monday Night Raw."

Another main eventer that could be moved, going from "Raw" to "SmackDown" this time, is Seth Rollins, who himself is fresh off wrapping up a long feud with Triple H and could benefit from facing new foes.

The tag team made up of Enzo and Big Cass could also be moved to "SmackDown" where they can help solidify a division still in need of a boost, while "Raw" could benefit from the addition of someone such as Mickie James to help add depth to a Women's division that may need more competitors.

The "Superstar Shake-Up" will take place on the next episode of "Monday Night Raw" that will air on April 10.
