WWE Raw Updates: Lesnar Surprises Goldberg With Signature Move; Undertaker Chokeslams Roman Reigns
World Wrestling Entertainment's latest Monday night RAW episode somehow turned into a pre-Wrestlemania 33 event as Goldberg got a dose of Brock Lesnar's F5 move while The Undertaker knocked out Roman Reigns with his signature chokeslam.
Goldberg recently snatched the WWE Universal Championship belt from Kevin Owens at the WWE Fastlane last Sunday. It was bad judgment on Owens' part to let Chris Jericho, who suddenly showed up mid-match, keep his mind away from the match. Goldberg, on the other hand, grabbed the opportunity and finished the title match as the winner.
On Monday, Goldberg was back in the ring to give a pep talk while carrying his new shiny red wrestling belt. As usual, Paul Heyman came in to interrupt, only this time, Lesnar, aka the Beast Incarnate, actually tagged along.
Lesnar's manager claimed that he and Lesnar only wanted to congratulate Goldberg. However, Heyman later on insulted the new WWE universal champion, calling him Lesnar's "b****" which definitely distracted Goldberg and gave Lesnar the chance to perform a brutal F5.
Goldberg originally went back to the WWE ring in 2016, 12 years since his retirement, to respond to Heyman's proposed match between him and Lesnar. Now, the two wrestlers are set to go into real battle at Wrestlemania 33.
On the other hand, last Monday's WWE Raw episode was also graced with another surprise visit from The Undertaker.
It was actually Braun Strowman who was the first one to be up in the ring and was challenging Roman Reigns for a match.
After a short moment, Reigns' entered the arena. However, his entrance was cut short by a familiar sound of a gong which usually signals the arrival of The Undertaker, who Reigns eliminated at the Royal Rumble last January.
Reigns addressed Undertaker, saying: "Braun wasn't calling you out here, Deadman, he called me. So with all due respect, this is my yard now." His words, however, were quickly met with a chokeslam.
WWE fans will see a match between Goldberg and Lesnar, and likely one with Reigns and Undertaker, at one of the biggest wrestling events every year - Wrestlemania 33. It will be held on April 2 at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
