WWE Rumors: Will Kurt Angle's Next Match Take Place at 'Survivor Series'?

Angle recently made his in-ring return at the 'TLC' event

Wrestling fans recently witnessed WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle's in-ring return, and there are now rumblings that more matches may be in the Olympian's future.

Angle returned to action recently, as he teamed up with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to take on The Miz, Braun Strowman, Kane and The Bar in the main event match of "TLC."

Angle's comeback was a surprise, mainly because he was only officially announced to be a part of the match just days before it was set to take place.

For the most part though, his return was a success with fans cheering loudly for every move he executed.

Clearly, many wrestling fans would like to see more of Angle competing, and a recent rumor has hinted that more matches may indeed be in his future.

According to a recent edition of Cageside Seats' "Rumor Roundup," Angle is no longer expected to be a full-time wrestler, but that comes with the caveat that he may still be competing in the so-called "Big 4" pay-per-views, which for those unaware are the "Royal Rumble," "WrestleMania," "SummerSlam" and the "Survivor Series."

So with "Survivor Series" less than a month away, should fans expect to see Angle competing at that event?

Nothing has been confirmed thus far, but there is certainly a chance of that happening.

The upcoming event is going with the "Monday Night RAW" vs. "SmackDown Live" theme again for this year, with currently announced matches featuring Superstars from those brands going up against each other.

One of the matches expected to be included in that event will pit a team of male Superstars from "RAW" facing off against another team made up of wrestlers from "SmackDown."

Considering that "SmackDown" commissioner Shane McMahon seems to be prominently involved in this brand vs. brand storyline, it would not be that surprising if he becomes one of the team members. If he does get added, "RAW" may then need an authority figure/wrestler on its team, and that is a role Angle could fill.

"Survivor Series" is looking like it can be a very interesting event, and excitement for it may increase even further if Angle is featured on the card.

More news about the latest WWE rumors should be made available soon.
