'X-Men:Apocalypse' Movie News: Michael Fassbender's Magneto Poster Completes Set of Horsemen Character Posters
Michael Fassbender's poster as Erik Lensherr, more popularly known as Magneto, was finally released and sealed the set of character posters released by 20th Century Fox for its upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" movie.
Prior to the release of Fassbender's Magneto poster, 20th Century Fox also released posters of Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Psylocke (Olivia Munn), and Angel (Ben Hardy), as the other three mutants who will be used by Apocalypse as his horsemen. As seen in the poster, Magneto dons red armor with billowing smoke and a blurry image of a horse at the background.
In the upcoming "X-Men" movie, Magneto will join the team of Apocalypse, played by Oscar Isaac. With this, the character will be challenged by the team of mutants helmed by Professor Xavier, played by James McAvoy, which will move heaven and earth to avert the destruction of the world through the acts of Apocalypse and the horsemen.

The Apocalypse character was first teased towards the closing credits of the movie "X-Men: Days of Future Past," showing a much younger version of the character who is seen building a pyramid in ancient Egypt using his telekinetic abilities. While building the pyramid, a crowd of ancient Egyptians can be heard chanting "En Sabah Nur," which is the real name of Apocalypse, literally translating to "The First One."
In "X-Men: Apocalypse," Apocalypse wakes up from thousands of years of deep slumber and carries out his plan of dominating the world, even if it means wiping out the entire human race. With this, he recruits four mutants who will act as his horsemen.
However, Professor X and his team of mutants will not just cave in to the evil desire of Apocalypse. Mystique, played by Jennifer Lawrence, will lead the team of the young X-Men in their quest to stop Apocalypse and his horsemen from carrying out their plan of wiping out humanity and dominating the world.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" is helmed by Bryan Singer. The movie will hit the theaters on May 27, 2016.
