Xbox Live Games With Gold: New Xbox One and Xbox 360 Free Games for February 2017
Yet another update for the Games with Gold February 2017 has just been released by Microsoft. A few new games are up for grabs as a couple of titles have been shuffled out of the lineup.
A look at the current lineup this late February:
The co-op action space shooter "Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime" will be available from Feb. 1 to 28 on the Xbox One.

The action-adventure "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" is up for grabs from Feb. 16 to 28, on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
From the previous lineup, the puzzle adventure game "Monkey Island 2: Special Edition" has just been replaced by "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed." The classic fighting title "Killer Instinct 2: Ultra Edition" was available until "Project CARS: Digital Edition" came up to replace it.
Players looking to complete their Games for Gold collection must hurry before it's too late. "Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime" and "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" will be available for just over a week. They will be replaced by Wednesday, March 1, when Microsoft announces their Games with Gold March 2017.
"Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime" puts the player, or players, in their bubble spaceship where teamwork is crucial and retro is the theme. One player aided by a computer helper, or up to four players, will have to man their stations — weapons, shields, propulsion — and work together to "triumph over the evil forces of Anti-Love, rescue kidnapped space-bunnies, and avoid a vacuumy demise."
"Project CARS" is one of the most detailed racing simulation games out there. The title goes for the authentic feel, accurate interiors and driving experience of their cars. It's the racing title "created by gamers, tested by real racing drivers, and the preferred choice of Esports pros."
"Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" rounds up the list. Set between the stories of "Revenge of the Sith" and "A New Hope," players take on the mantle of Darth Vader's secret apprentice and explore the universe through the eyes of the Starkiller.
Games with Gold is part of the Xbox Live Gold subscription service. Microsoft makes a small selection of games free to download and play, as long as the Gold subscription is maintained.
