Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Latest Games and News 2016: Microsoft Adds 'Bayonetta,' 'Of Orcs and Men' and More [DETAILS]
Popular Xbox 360 Game "Bayonetta" Coming to Xbox One
Microsoft has updated their list of Xbox One compatible games for this month.
Microsoft added more titles with Xbox One Backwards compatibility. Xbox's Larry Hyrb tweeted that some of the games that arrived on Xbox One include the ever popular "Bayonetta", "de Blob 2" and "Arkanoid Live!". Other games not mentioned by Hyrb are "Of Orcs and Men" and "Qix++".

Along with Hyrb's announcement, the list posted on the Major Nelson blog has also been updated. There are currently more than 100 titles in the list and it may grow even more in the future. The blog also noted how to install and play the Xbox 360 backward compatible games on the Xbox One.
Xbox 360 Backwards Compatible "Bayonetta" on Xbox One
Platinum Games' "Bayonetta" has a cult following and was extremely popular during its time with good reason. According to Digital Spy, the titular character, "Bayonetta", is a witch that is portrayed like no other. Bayonetta is iconic for being dressed in a skin-tight black suit which is actually her hair. She uses her hair to summon creatures like demons, causing it to bare a part of her body and give players a good dose of fanservice.
"Bayonetta" was directed by Hideki Kamiya, the same guy who directed "Resident Evil 2" and "Devil May Cry". The game has a sequel called "Bayonetta 2", but it is only available on Nintendo's Wii U. The good news is, there is a packaged special edition bundle of the game with the sequel, but it is not known if the latter can be played on the Xbox One.
Xbox 360 Backwards Compatible 'Of Orcs and Men' on Xbox One
Cyanide and Spiders' "Of Orcs and Men" was first released on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC last 2012.. It is an action RPG that takes on the side of orcs and goblins as the Empire of Men try to take on their territories. Players will play the lead Orc warrior and Goblin master to prevent their kin from being massacred and enslaved by killing the Emperor of men.
According to its Steam page, "Of Orcs and Men" garnered "Mostly Positive" reviews from players. It is currently on sale right now at 80% off.
Xbox 360 Backwards Compatible "de Blob 2,' 'Arkanoid Live!,' 'Qix++' on Xbox One
"de Blob 2" is a platform puzzle game published in 2011. "Arkanoid Live!" is also a puzzle game that involves destroying blocks with the space in the background. It was given a more modern take of the classic "Arkanoid" arcade game in the 80's. "Qix++" is the remake of the original game and was also an arcade game in 80's by Taito.
