Microsft Announces Three New Titles This Week

Microsoft has announced three new backwards compatible games on Xbox One this week.

The Xbox One backwards compatibility feature was first announced last year at E3 2015. There have been many titles from Xbox 360 titles that have been added since then and the list keeps growing. For August this week, there are three new titles that have been announced by Microsoft.

Xbox One Backwards Compatibility: August Titles
The Backwards Compatibility allows players to play old Xbox 360 games on their Xbox One. Attack of the Fanboy reports that the new titles added for this week are "New Rally-X," "Mr. Driller Online" and "Nin2-Jump."

"New Rally-X" is an arcade game developed by Namco. It was originally released in 1981 but was released on Microsoft Xbox 360 Xbox Live Arcade in late 2006. Meanwhile, "Mr. Driller" is a puzzle video game also created by Namco. It was released in April 2008 for the Xbox Live Marketplace as well. "Nin-2 Jump" was given a Teen rating on the Xbox Live Marketplace. It was a game developed by CAVE and was released on 2011.

'Blue Dragon' – Xbox 360 Exclusive Game to Be Added
VG247 reports that the Xbox 360 exclusive "Blue Dragon" game will become backwards compatible for the Xbox One soon. Microsoft Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer confirmed on Twitter that "Blue Dragon" will indeed have Xbox One compatibility in the future. Spencer was prompted to reply after a fan asked him about the game. Spencer has not revealed when "Blue Dragon" will be appearing on the Xbox One.

"Blue Dragon" is a popular role playing game that was developed by Mistwalker and Artoon. It was published by Microsoft Game Studios in late 2006 as an exclusive title for the Xbox 360. It is worth noting that "Blue Dragon" was designed by big name Japanese developers including Akira Toriyama, a Japanese mangaka, game artist known for the "Dragon Ball" series.

There's also Nobuo Uematsu, a famous Japanese famous composer known for his work on the "Final Fantasy" franchise and finally, Hironobu Sakaguchi, a Japanese director, producer, game designer best known for creating the "Final Fantasy" franchise.
