Xbox One Launch Titles: Day One Console Offers 10 Exclusive Games Along with Multi-Platform Releases
Xbox One arrives on shelves this Friday, and has a number of available launch titles right away for gamers to entertain themselves until more games are released.
Exclusive titles for the Microsoft console are: Crimson Dragon, Dead Rising 3, Fighter Within, Forza Motorsport 5, Killer Instinct, Lococycle, Peggle 2, Powerstar Golf, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Zoo Tycoon.
Games that are seeing a multi-platform release in addition to the Xbox One: Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, FIFA 14, Just Dance 2014, LEGO: Marvel Super Heroes, Madden NFL 25, NBA 2K14, NBA LIVE 14, Need for Speed: Rivals, Skylanders: Swap Force, Watch Dogs, and Zumba Fitness.
Games can be purchased in store as a physical copy, or downloaded digitally in the Xbox Live store. Games can also be uploaded from off the disc as well.
Just last week, Microsoft accidentally shipped out a bunch of Xbox Ones to U.K. customers almost two weeks before the console's launch.
Microsoft realized their folly when a recipient began posting pictures and videos online. They were then banned by Microsoft until Nov. 22.
The Telegraph reports that at least three have already been received, with another appearing on eBay.
"Due to a retail partner's system issue, a very small number of Xbox One consoles were shipped to consumers before the 11/22 street date," Microsoft said in a statement. "We're pleased to see the initial response to Xbox One has been so positive, but given we are still putting the finishing touches on our games, UI and online services, as well as confidential partner and media agreements, these consoles will be restricted from connecting to Xbox Live until closer to our launch date."
The Xbox One will debut this Friday with a majority of those picking the console up after pre-ordering. The system will retail for $499.
