Xbox Scorpio Game Rumors: 'Forza Motorsport 7,' Third-Party Games Among First Titles for Console

Xbox Scorpio could be fully revealed within the 'coming weeks,' according to the latest rumors

Arguably the main selling point of the Xbox Scorpio is its impressive power that will supposedly enable it to provide players with gaming experiences they couldn't enjoy before, but even the most impressive internal configurations may not mean much if the games that can be played are not up to snuff.

The folks over at Microsoft have yet to pull the curtain back fully and share what games will be made available come launch day. However, new rumors are now pointing to some intriguing offerings.

According to a recent report from Windows Central, "Forza Motorsport 7" is set to be the "headline title" for the new console, with "Crackdown 3" and "State of Decay 2" also mentioned as possible first-party games that could help showcase what the Scorpio is capable of.

Interestingly enough, the Xbox Scorpio may be shown off to the public with more than just first-party offerings hinting at the immense potential of this new platform.

As the report added, third-party games may be showcased as well, including the long sought-after "Red Dead Redemption 2."

This year's "Call of Duty" game as well as "Star Wars Battlefront 2" may also be shown running on the console. For those who prefer sports titles, the new "FIFA" and "Madden" offerings may be previewed too.

Furthermore, gamers may not have to wait for that much longer before they can see the aforementioned games running on the Scorpio.

In a separate report, Windows Central also shared that the full reveal of the new console may take place in the "coming weeks," with the Electronic Entertainment Expo and a possible Microsoft event rumored to be taking place this spring listed as the potential host events for it.

The Xbox Scorpio is currently expected to be made available to gamers sometime during the upcoming holiday season, though more details about it should be shared before then.
