XCOM 2 Now Available in Xbox One, PS4
XCOM 2 from 2K Games is formerly PC-exclusive, but it has now been released for consoles including the PS4 and Xbox One.
The game used to be only exclusive to PC as it was released earlier this year. XCOM 2 is critically acclaimed by many critics when it came out. It was noted that while many PC titles have mod support, the XCOM 2 PS4 and Xbox One versions will not have it.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of XCOM 2 were supposed to be released earlier on September this year, Game Spot noted. The outlet noted that the release date of XCOM 2 was delayed to this week so that the developers can "polish" it to be able to meet their standards.

According to the outlet, the XCOM 2 console release will get the game's season pass called the "Reinforcement Pack". It includes Anarchy's Children, Alien Hunters, Shen's Last Gift along with soldier customizations and a mission with Chief Engineer Lily Shen. The entire bundle which is neatly packed in the Digital Deluxe edition retails for $80. The standard XCOM 2 edition costs $60.
Those who have pre-ordered XCOM 2 on the PS4 and Xbox One will reportedly get the "Resistance Warrior Pack", Express noted. The pack will include new outfits, war paints, customizations and a "Survivor of the Old War" which is a fellow that can be seen in the Avenger's barracks.
Sept. 27 is the official console release of XCOM 2 in the North America, but it will have its world wide release by Sept. 30. The game will go live by 9PM PT this Friday.
XCOM 2 Gameplay PC Vs Console
According to The Bitbag, the PC version of XCOM 2 launched earlier this year in February with some issues. The outlet adds that its performance issues hamper players from playing it in its graphically-optimized glory no matter how good their desktop computers are.
Now that it has its version on the PS4 and Xbox One, some PC issues of XCOM 2 reportedly do not appear and may even be stable. Xbox One players say that XCOM 2 works nicely on their consoles, but some PS4 players report that the framerates of the game drops on theirs. According to the outlet, hesitant players need not to worry because XCOM 2 performs fine on the Xbox One and PS4.
